About Our Cottage
Built in c1900, Cedarwood Cottage is a charming holiday home located in the heart of the idyllic rural Devon village of Winkleigh.
Perfect for a self catering family holiday in Devon or a romantic break for two, Cedarwood Cottage has two bedrooms that can sleep up to four if you're a couple with 2 children. The cottage is cosy, therefore, it's not ideal for 4 adults.
The cottage is accessed via three slate steps with a further internal step leading you to the welcoming and cosy living room.

The cosy, welcoming open plan living room with dining area boasts:
• stone fireplace with wood-burner effect electric fire
• TV with Freeview, DVD
• dining table
• free Wifi
With comfortable interiors, it’s the perfect snug setting to curl up with your loved ones in the evening while watching a film or play a family board game from our small selection of entertainment items.
The cosy dog bed ensures that even your furry friend can relax in comfort.
Kitchen
Situated at the rear of the cottage is the kitchen which floods with natural daylight throughout the day.
Compact but well equipped with everything you need for your self catering Devon holiday including:
• gas hob, electric oven
• microwave, toaster
• fridge, dishwasher
We provide a few essentials - oven glove, a small amount of tea towel, tea, coffee and sugar for your convenience.
The rear door leads to a small area of decking and utility building that houses the washing machine and tumble dryer that are available for your use during your stay.
The pretty Master Bedroom has:
• a double bed, furnished with luxury cotton bedding
• dressing table with matching stool
• full length mirror
• TV
• built in wardrobe
• hairdryer, iron and ironing board
• travel cot - please note that you will need to bring your own cot linen
We provide one luxury towel per guest.
A light, single room with stunning views of the Devon countryside has:

• a shower over bath

A luxury cotton hand towel and bath mat are provided.
A toilet roll and handwash are also supplied.
External wooden decking leads from the kitchen with a three steps down to the fully enclosed south facing patio garden.
The perfect suntrap and idyllic spot to enjoy your morning coffee or relax with a glass of wine after a day of exploring Winkleigh and the many delights that Devon offers.
Al fresco dining is a must whilst soaking up the summer sunshine at the garden table that seats four, perfect for relaxing on those Devon summer evenings.
